Had dinner here last week and it was okay overall. The food came out quickly and was still warm, so no complaints there. My burger was a little dry though, and the chips were average. From the staff’s tone, I kind of got the impression they were busy and just trying to get through the evening, which is fair, but it didn’t make the place feel especially welcoming. Not bad for the price, but it didn’t taste super fresh. I’d maybe go back and try something different next time.

The toilets were properly clean, which says a lot about the place

I booked a table online and the confirmation came through quickly, which was nice. I still had to wait a few minutes when I got there, but what restaurant doesn’t keep you waiting a little sometimes?

I feel kind of stupid for trusting that there would be decent gluten-free choices here. There were hardly any options available, and it was really disappointing after expecting more.

The food was good and the staff were friendly, so no real complaints there. I just thought the portions were a little small for what it cost. The chips especially disappeared fast, like after just a few bites, and the main didn’t quite fill me up. Not a bad meal at all, I just expected a bit more on the plate.

We took our dog to a Marston’s pub and, it was mostly fine. The staff were lovely and let us sit in the bar area, which was nice. I was going to say it was really easy, but actually, there wasn’t much room between the tables, so it felt a bit cramped with the dog. It would be much better if the website made it clearer which pubs allow dogs and exactly where they’re allowed to sit. Not a bad experience, just a little hit and miss

Went for dinner and used a discount voucher, and it all went through fine no hassle. Prices felt fair tbh, but a few of the offers weren’t shown very clearly around the pub, so that was a bit confusng at first.

Food was fine and the staff were nice enough, but wow it was noisy when we went. We could barely chat without having to raise our voices, which got a bit tiring tbh. Not a bad place or anything, just maybe not the best pick if you’re after a chilled, relaxed evening.

I felt like I had to keep asking over and over just to get any service, which got frustrating. On top of that, the reminders felt a bit too aggressive, like they were pushing me nonstop instead of actually helping. Not the smoothest experience.

Popped into a Marston’s pub with a few mates and had a good time . The drinks selection was solid , with a nice mix of beers on tap , a couple of ciders and some decent bottled options too . Prices felt about what you’d expect for a pub these days . Only slight letdown was that one ale I fancied wasn’t on , but there was still plenty else to pick from . I’d happily go back .

I was disappointed with the menu. It felt really boring, like the same few pub options you see everywhere, and nothing stood out as special. For what I paid, I expected a bit more variety or at least something memorable. I’d appreciate some kind of compensation or gesture, because the experience really didn’t feel worth it.

Bottom line, I didn’t have to wait long at all. I got there expecting the queue to take a while, but it moved really quickly and the whole process was smooth.

Got exactly what I ordered and had no issues at all. My sister even checked it out and said it looked great too. Really happy with the purchase.

I popped in hoping to enjoy a decent pint, but the ale was a letdown. It tasted flat and a bit past its best, so I tried another one and that wasn’t much better either, plus it was slightly warm. The staff were perfectly fine and there was nothing wrong with the service, but for me, the beer quality just wasn’t good enough. I might give the food a try another time, but I wouldn’t come back just for a drink.

Went to a Marston’s pub last weekend with a couple of mates i had a good time. It had that warm, comfortable feel without being too fancy or too noisy, although now I’m wondering if we maybe just caught it at a good time. The staff seemed relaxed, and the locals were friendly, which really does make a difference. There was music on, but we could still chat without shouting. I’d have probably given it 5 stars, but it did get a bit crowded around the bar later on. Not a huge issue, though. Overall, a good atmosphere and I’d definitely go back.

I went mostly thinking, okay, I’ll grab a drink and sit outside for a bit, but the outdoor area just wasn’t quite there. A few tables were sticky, and I kept noticing glasses sitting around on other tables for what felt like ages. The seats also felt old and not especially comfortable, so I was basically thinking, yeah… this is fine for one quick drink, but I’m not settling in here. The staff were perfectly fine, no issue there, but the outside space could definitely use a bit more attention

When I got there, I was a little worried about getting inside, but the ramp access made it really easy. Before I even had time to wonder where to go next, a staff member came over and helped right away. It made the whole visit feel a lot less stressful and really welcoming.

I popped into the pub for a quick drink and, to be fair, the main area made a good first impression. It was mostly tidy, and I noticed the staff were clearing tables quite quickly, which always makes a place feel more looked after. But when I wandered off to use the toilets, that’s where it dipped a bit. They didn’t feel especially fresh, and the floor was a little sticky too. It wasn’t a terrible experience by any means, just one of those visits where you think, “This place could be really nice with a bit more care.”
